About this notice
This notice explains how personal information is handled when you visit synainesi.com or express interest in Synainesi. It does not cover the Synainesi product itself, which will have its own documentation and contract terms.

What we collect
When you express interest
- Your email address (required), so that we can contact you about your expression of interest.
- Your name (optional), so that we know who to address.
- Your organisation and role (optional), so that we can understand which kinds of teams are interested.
- A short description of what you would want Synainesi to help with (optional). Please do not include confidential, client or personal information in it.
- Your choice about product updates, and when you made it.
- Record details: when the record was created, confirmed and last changed, which version of this notice applied, and when we last emailed you.
When you browse the site
The site uses no analytics, advertising or social-media tracking, and sets no cookies for visitors.
To limit abuse of the form, we keep short-lived counters keyed by a one-way, keyed hash of your IP address; they expire within an hour and your IP address itself is not stored by the site. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses and the pages requested, for a short time to keep the service secure. See cookies for what the site stores in your browser.
Why we use it
We use expression-of-interest details only to respond to your expression of interest: to contact you about Synainesi and the conversations you asked for. We send product updates only if you separately choose to receive them. We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.
We handle your expression of interest to take the steps you ask for before any agreement with us, and in our legitimate interest in answering enquiries about Synainesi. We send product updates, and set analytics cookies, only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
How long we keep it
- If we ask you to confirm your email address and you do not, the request is deleted automatically after 7 days.
- Records are deleted automatically after 12 months without activity, such as changing your preferences.
- If you withdraw using the link in any of our emails, your record is deleted immediately.
Who else handles it
Your information is stored in the website’s database. It is handled for us by our website hosting provider and by our email delivery service. Both process it only on our instructions. We do not share expressions of interest with any marketing, CRM or advertising service. If your information is transferred outside the UK or the European Economic Area, we make sure it is protected by appropriate safeguards, such as the standard contractual clauses approved for that purpose.
Your choices and rights
You can stop product updates, or withdraw and delete your expression of interest, at any time using the link in any email we send. You can also ask us, using the contact details above, for a copy of your information, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority, such as the one where you live or work.
Security
Expression-of-interest records are kept separately from the site’s published content, are visible only to authorised administrators, and are not included in search, feeds or public interfaces. Email links contain a random token; only a one-way hash of it is stored.
Changes to this notice
We will update this notice when our practices change, and record which version applied when you expressed interest. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
